Everyone has their own little perspective on what makes a great ski area. Nightlife, lots of snow, easy access to hill accommodation, Celebrities around, the high-end restaurants are all aspects of what a ski resort, what. My perspective is from the ski page. I like a lot of snow, great trails, a mountain of different abilities in different parts of the hill, smaller crowds and spreads I had mentioned, a lot of snow. So here goes my top five ski areas in Colorado since. These are in no particular order, like I worked pretty hard time there for a maximum of five years.
Crested Butte Mountain> Resort in the southern part of Colorado is located in an ideal position to catch the best winds in winter, Colorado. It 's a day a little' hotter than the other top four places on this list with an average winter temperature of 30F. The mountain is about 50% of the experts and most of the remaining 50% is intermediate. This is an old ski hill that test your skills. The city has developed over nits, but you can do something for nearly everyone present.
Steamboat Ski ResortIn the northwestern part of Colorado is six mountain peaks, 165 channels from more than 2965 hectares with 20 lifts, including four high-speed quad chairlifts and an 8-seater gondola, rising 3,668 meters including distributed service. Gladed areas of sun and Storm Peaks are Steamboat claim to fame, with Champagne Powder snow in the trees for the dogs fiercest dust. When the snow is not the world a better place to drive. A great city with work cattle ranchesand make you feel old west a destination not to be missed.
Telluride Ski Resort: Surrounded by the highest peak concentrations of 14,000 in the U.S., this is a paradise for skiers. The town of Telluride is just out of the way that you as the whole mountain is your feeling. No lift line at all costs and food, is that almost all slopeslide. Great season of snow and again in southern Colorado, where if the weather does not talk about snow in feet inches.
Copper MountainLocation: The resort Oly listed, the room sits on I-70, but the mountain is worth dealing with I-70. This is the perfect ski. From left skier is a beginner, intermediate, and center right is an expert. The land experts in the Far East is breathtaking. see the valley below the site is perfect. Snow is generally very good.
Winter Park Resort just 67 miles from Denver and the best and most snow in the state. WinterPark is a favorite of Colorado as they say. Snow averages around 350 mm per year and it's sunny 70% of the ski season. This must mean some big storms! Mary Jane side of Winter Park has the best shots in North America, and is great powder skiing and big tree. Winter Park is the place to go if you like snow, I think WP is the favorite here.
